Meet Our Team

Ella

Ella founded Second Nature following a period where she redefined her relationship with creativity. With a stronger focus on how wellbeing connected and underpinned the creative process, a space in which her work could flourish was born.

As a result Second Nature has been designed and curated to give a similar discovery space to artists, writers, and creatives who are looking to develop and connect their wellbeing to their work until it becomes…Second Nature.

Ella has played festivals, sold out notorious venues, released albums, written alongside renowned musicians andsupported prestigious artists such as, Priya Ragu, Paul Oakanfold and  Emelie Sandè.

Beyond her career as a songwriter and performer is her unwavering passion for writing and words. At the heart of her purpose is empowering people to utilise the gift of language in both their lives and through their art from.

Ella will be welcoming you into a warm and nourishing space where wellbeing meets writing with the intention that the two will begin to grow alongside each other in a way that speaks to everyone’s truest nature.

Roxanne

Roxanne will be available to emotionally support all workshop participants during the retreat. She believes that having the opportunity to explore one’s thoughts, emotions and life’s questions in a neutral space can help us move through our lives with greater ease and mindfulness.

As part of this philosophy, Roxanne has been immersed in the world of yoga for 12 years, both exploring and teaching the practice. She believes that Yoga is ‘for everyone’ and loves passing on her passion to all.

As a qualified Hatha Yoga Teacher, her approach includes her breathwork techniques which help calm the nervous system as well as encourage a holistic connection between mind and body.

Her background in counselling and yoga provides her with an ideal multi-layered approach to support the group in their creative and emotional explorations.

Roxanne has been working alongside young people since 2000 and is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).

Bea

As a creative director, writer and photographer, Bea has been expressing her art and visions in a way that have been much acclaimed and admired.

She has seen her photography featured across notorious billboard sites across London and finessed the London art scene as part of the Tate collective. Bea has connected and collaborated with distinguished artists, athletes, and visionaries in order to bring her projects to life.

Having been invited to perform at spoken word events, as well as having her most recent project showcased at a heralded film festival, Bea demonstrates what it is to be an artist with a voice.

Bea will be facilitating the retreat’s creative exploration & identity workshops and helping reenergise the inner artistic voice in creatives.
